Dr. Sam Abettan is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He grew up in Brooklyn and currently resides in West Hempstead with his wonderful wife and 3 beautiful children. Dr. Abettan earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and continued his training at NYU with a post-graduate residency in Pediatric Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and is a board-certified pediatric dentist from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Abettan serves as Assistant Director of the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he trains pediatric dental residents. Dr. Abettan is a proponent of preventative and minimally invasive dentistry and works with his patients and parents to provide a customized approach to dental health. Dr. Abettan provides care with a chairside manner that keeps patients and their families comfortable and at ease.

In his free time, Dr. Abettan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, and hiking.
